Warranty
When sourcing our timber, we only use accredited, trustworthy FSC registered suppliers, meaning you know that the timber used on your project has been ethically gathered from sustainable sources. Timber is however, a natural product. So even though the upmost care has been taken to ensure the highest quality timber is being used, the risk of movement, cracking, warping or twisting is always present. Timber moves naturally with the seasons, in most cases you can see swelling during the wetter months, and shrinkage during the dryer hotter months, this is natural and to be expected. All of our joinery will come finished with two coats of finish unless requested, which will seal the timber and massively reduce the chance of any unwanted movement, and to top it off, an aftercare sheet on how to correctly maintain your joinery will be provided with every order. We also offer a maintenance package on all of our joinery, meaning we can come and visit you on site, to sand, oil and re-silicone any joinery that requires it, just ask this to be added to your quote if its something you would like to know more about.
Providing the aftercare guidelines have been followed correctly, if there are any issues with swelling, warping, cracking or anything else, one of our team will come and visit to assess the problem and repair/replace any items that require attention at our own expense.
Glass and ironmongery will be covered by the manufacturers warranty, which will differ depending on the product, but we will also provide details of these upon you deciding what products you wish to use. One of our team will visit to replace and refit any items that require attention at our own expense.
